Pro Wakeboard Tour Digital Event #3 Recap

The fan votes were counted and the results for the PWT Digital event #3 moved riders on the scoreboard! As the season nears its conclusion the fierce competition continues.

The scores are in! The fan vote favored last year’s series defending champion Nic Rapa who won the digital event by merely two points over fellow Aussie (and newly crowned WWA Nautique National Champion) Cory Teunissen. Nic tallied a total of 780 votes that gave him the win over Teunissen 480 while US Master’s champ Guenther Oka placed third with a total of 642 fan votes.

The fervid competition continues as the best boat riders in the world keep that $10,000 overall series payout in close sight. Rapa leads the overall ranking scoreboard with 270 points followed closely by Teunissen and Oka who are both tied with 250 points. Trailing behind by only 10 points is dark horse Sam Brown, the Australian teenager who won the first Pro Wake Tour Stop in Kathy, Texas. Brown is ranked 4th with 240 points

There was a major upset In the Junior Pro Men’s division. Parker Swope from the USA broke the winning streak of Switzerland’s Jamie Huser winning first place with 94.38 points. Huser placed second with 90.88 points and Daniel Johnson came in third with 86.50 points. Huser leads the overall rankings with 290 points followed by Swope in second with 270 and Cody Hunnicutt with 225 in third

In the men’s Pro Wakesurf division, Taylor Swanson won the event with the highest fan vote of 1,169 followed by brother Camron with 1,109 votes in second place. Sean Silveira leads the overall tour rankings with 275 points ahead of Taylor and Camron, the Swanson brothers are tied in second position with 260 points.
