The Nautique Moomba Masters, presented by GM Marine capped off in Melbourne, Australia yesterday with two course records set and Nautique athletes claiming titles in numerous divisions. The record-setting Ski Nautique and award-winning Super Air Nautique G23 were out delivering perfect pulls once again for the top athletes in the world to perform their best. The Yarra River set the stage with record attendance for the event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday while the Moomba Festival played an incredible host to this one-of-a-kind event.

During the Jump division, it was Nautique athlete and Moomba Masters legend Ryan Dodd claiming victory behind the Ski Nautique. Ryan competed all weekend long, winning the Moomba title and also taking the win during the popular night jump portion of the event.

“After a few years of missing this event it showed me how special it really is,” said Nautique Team athlete Ryan Dodd. “To see all the smiles and happy people celebrating in Melbourne this year at the Moomba Festival was truly special. I’m just grateful to be a part of it, let alone take the win. This was one of my most memorable performances and one for the books and I’m so happy to have been able to launch some big jumps behind the Ski Nautique!”

Two other team Nautique athletes, Neilly Ross and Pato Font, dominated the Trick Divisions and won Moomba Masters titles in the Women and Men’s divisions respectfully. Another Nautique athlete, Erika Lang, grabbed second spot in the Women’s Trick division behind Neilly after putting together two stellar passes behind the Ski Nautique.

During the Women’s Wakeboarding division, it was newly signed Mary Morgan Howell who took home her first ever Moomba Masters win. Mary has been at the top of her game lately and felt right at home riding behind the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23!

“I feel so honored to take the win at the Moomba Masters,” said Nautique Team rider Mary Morgan Howell. “I would like to say a huge thank you to Nautique, GM Marine, the Victorian Waterski Association and the city of Melbourne for hosting this amazing event! It was beyond thrilling to compete in front of cheering, record-breaking crowds. The energy was INSANE! I am so grateful to Nautique for implementing equal pay for male and female athletes and I am looking forward to a great season ahead!”
