An incredible week of performances was capped off yesterday during the final day of the Nautique WWA Wakeboard World Championships and Nautique Masters Wakesurf Championships presented by Yanmar Marine. The events, held in conjunction, were part of an amazing week of action on the water at Callaway Gardens behind the award-winning G23 and G23 Paragon. History was made when Kane Ward, at just 10 years old, became the first wakeboarder to land a double flip behind the innovative G23. Watch the incredible feat right here. Kane went on to win the Boys division with two stellar passes to add a World title to his name.

The performances from the Team Nautique athletes also made for an incredible weekend of action. During the Nautique Wakesurf Masters, it was Noah Flegel and Jodi Grassman taking home the coveted titles during the Pro Men and Women’s Wakesurf divisions behind the G23 Paragon. Those victories also clinched the overall titles in the Nautique Wakesurf Series for Noah and Jodi in the Pro Men and Pro Women’s divisions. On the wakeboarding side of things, Cory Teunissen rode unbelievable all weekend long and added another World title to his name during the Nautique WWA Wakeboarding World Championships presented by Yanmar. This also marked the culmination of the 2021 season where this event win sealed two additional series victories for Cory with the Nautique Wake Series and WWA World Series.

“What an exciting way to cap off an incredible weekend!” said Nautique President Greg Meloon. “Watching Kane Ward become the youngest athlete to land a double flip in competition behind the G23 was amazing to witness. It was also a great weekend for Team Nautique, with multiple athletes taking home Worlds and Masters Wakesurf titles. A big congrats to all the winners and everyone that enjoyed this special weekend!”
