At 25 feet with 3,200 pounds of ballast and room for 18 on board, the XT25 is ready for loads of fun in comfort and style for your whole crew. MasterCraft’s SurfStar system with its factory presets will see you up and riding in no time. Built-in Rapid Surf software allows for quick, intuitive adjustments to the wakesurf waves, where riders can choose from seven different settings between mellow and steep. It’s easy to transition from a brand-new rider to a pro with a couple of taps on the touchscreen. With the XT25’s size and some friends on board, the wakesurf wave is large, clean, and has a big pocket great for learning to ride or progressing to advanced tricks. SurfStar also makes it easy to customize your waves, with precise control over the three transom-mounted tabs.

On board, we found the XT25 roomy and comfortable, and noted that the optional CoolFeel vinyl truly does keep upholstery temperatures down on the hottest of days. Combined with bolsters in the seat bases, plush padding and scalloped seatbacks, you’ve got comfort for all. Storage is ample underneath every seat as well as in the engine lockers, which can be optioned with all-new webbing systems to store wet items like ropes and vests. In the lounge area, cell-phone holder trays are purposely placed above the cup holders to keep them out of the sun—and the trays can be optioned with wireless charging capabilities. At the transom, comfy seat pads above the swim platform are standard, and flip-up backrests can be added to enhance lounging.

There are three tower options for MasterCraft’s XT line: Z6, Z8 and Z10. Our test model featured the powered Z10, which quickly and easily lowered when I pushed the button. Clamping board racks are standard, and the oversize Bimini features wakesurf and foil board storage above and below. Both the Z8 and Z10 can be customized with colored inlays so buyers can make their boat look as unique as they want.
