2023 Heyday H22

The H22 offers attractive lines and an easily-customizable wake.

The lines of Heyday’s H22 are bold and attractive, yet not overly aggressive. The aesthetic provided by the flat front of the bow echoes that of the LED light bar that’s both functional and futuristic. The H22’s high gunwales allow for deeper, more secure cockpit seating. Follow the sheerline aft, and the H22’s signature rear-facing transom seats are revealed. These seats are unlike any other in the water-sports boat market, constructed in a way that enables sitting in them while the boat is underway so that occupants can safely and comfortably enjoy the action in the wake.

Equipped with MerCruiser’s 370 hp T6200 inboard engine, the H22 planes quickly and easily, even when loaded with passengers and the available 2,950 pounds of ballast on board. At the helm, the Simrad touchscreen multifunction display features Heyday’s custom software, meaning the H22’s systems and accessories are controlled intuitively with a few finger taps.

In terms of comfort, the H22 offers a surprising amount of space to spread out despite its 22-foot length. Rated for 14, quality upholstery materials and attractive stitching add a customized look, while the sliding rear bench adds versatility and function. Access to the transom and its two unique seats is easy thanks to the nonskid flooring and cascading steps to the swim platform.

Swiveling racks on the tower make for convenient board stowage, and generously sized underseat compartments provide plenty of space for your gear and essentials. A large Bimini top deploys easily, providing cooling shade. The tower itself can be lowered by a single person, which aids in several scenarios, including making garage storage easier for the H22.

The Heyday custom software comes with presets for “Surf Left” and “Surf Right,” making it simple for new riders and captains to create and ride optimized waves. The 2,950 pounds of ballast help create fun, clean wakesurf waves with a good-size sweet spot; add the weight of family and friends as crew to the boat and the waves and riding only get better. Customize the wake and wave shape by adjusting the center-mounted tab at the transom.

If you’re looking to get into watersports with a good-performing, high-quality boat for an attractive price, try out a Heyday H22.
