The second season of the Maven Sessions Tour kicks off April 15-16 in Liquid Force’s hometown waters of the Carlsbad Lagoon in Carlsbad, California. Local dealer Wakesports Unlimited will host the event. Amber Wing and Stephanie Wamsley are flying in from Orlando. LF veteran and California native Melissa Marquardt will be there as will Maven Sessions newbie Shelby Kantar. With open spots for 72 girls to experience the Maven Sessions, this will be one of the largest stops all season. Amber, Melissa, Shelby and Stephanie will debut the 2007 Maven product line in a four-hour clinic in which attendees will learn about board shapes and how to choose the best set-ups. Then they’ll pile in boats and the pros will teach the attendees proper body position, the progressive approach to the wake, and any tricks they’d like to work on this summer.
