Last weekend the World Wakeboard Association hosted the first Malibu Rider Experience event out at Freedom Wake Park in Orlando, FL. With all the typical contests out there, Malibu and the WWA have organized a series of events that are pretty unique. The first day started with all free riding and a few meetings where the riders can learn about judging systems, and some demos from some Malibu pro riders. There was an amateur contest held on the second day, and the third day was all about having fun and surfing behind the new Malibu Boat and trying out Surf Gate. The amateur contest that was held on Saturday was the first steps in developing a regional qualifier system in the US, so stay tuned to whats going on with these events as they will most likely be shaping the future: Malibu Rider Experience
