2010 Corpus Christi Pro

On April 22-25, the Texas Ski Ranch will host the Corpus Christi Pro as part of the Texas International Boat Show.

This unique wakeboard tournament will showcase some of the top wakeboarders in the world competing for a $15,000 cash purse. Unlike most Texas Ski Ranch events, the Corpus Christi Pro will not be pulled by a MasterCraft X-Star or a Rixen cable system. Because the event is held in the Corpus Christi Marina, a Sea-Doo watercraft will pull wakeboarders over obstacles made specifically for this event. While the setting is challenging, it's also very rewarding because of the close proximity to the crowd.

In 2009, Tom Fooshee and Gabe Lucas won the largest portion of the prize money. With twice as much money this year, Texas Ski Ranch expects more national and international riders to travel in for the event. Fooshee and Lucas will have the experience this year, but with the expanded field of riders, they will have their work cut out for them if they wish to repeat. The 2010 event will be sanctioned by the World Wakeboard Association. To register for the event go to texasSkiRanch.com/corpus.

The Texas International Boat Show, presented by American Bank, will take place from April 22nd–25th, 2010, at the Corpus Christi Downtown Marina. Buyers and sellers from across Texas, the U.S. and Mexico, plus exhibitors from around the world, will come together to create a unique marketplace offering a relaxed and leisurely environment in which to meet during this four-day event. Hundreds of boats will be on display, both in the water and on-shore, many ready to demo! For more information on the Texas International Boat Show, please go to txintlboatshow.com
