After an insane show-down in the Cable Park at The Texas Ski Ranch for stop number two, the Byerly Toe Jam Wakeskate Tour is venturing to Wasaga Beach, Ontario, Canada for its third stop on August 21-23 and its first international stop in the history of the series. Please read below for important info on Travel, Accommodations and Registration.
The top two finalists of this wake-heavy contest will qualify behind a Correct Craft and be invited to the final Byerly Toe Jam stop in Orlando on September 18-20. In addition to the wake action, there will be a bonus rail event, to be pulled by the Sea Doo Wake Edition PWC that will also provide the winner an opportunity for an invite to the Finals.
For the Byerly Toe Jam Stop #3, The Rockstar Wake Jam, in Ontario, Canada, you will need to fly into Toronto’s Pearson Airport (YYZ). Since there are new travel requirements being implemented, we are recommending that anyone going to this event have a valid passport. If you need to get a passport, attached is a link to get this information: http://travel.state.gov/passport/forms/forms_841.html. We will be running a limited amount of shuttles on Wednesday, August 20, from the airport to the event sight. Please e-mail us with your itinerary and we will try to accommodate you on one of these shuttles.
The Dyconia Resort Hotel http://www.wasaga.com/dyconia (705-429-2000) will be the host hotel for this event. Have a look at the rooms online and there is a pretty good description of each type of room. Most rooms will sleep 4 to 6 people. We have an agreement on a $150 per room per night rate across the board. The food is the best in Wasaga and they are going to add a buffet option to the a la carte menu so we can eat cheap and quick after a long day on site. This will most definitely be one of the most festive locations for after-hours activities in the history of the Byerly Toe Jam. We will be sending you a Facebook link to check out all of the action.
If you are competing or sponsoring the event you must be booked by August 11. If rooms are all booked please contact Shereef Shiaty (Canadian Byerly Toe Jam Event Coordinator) by phone (416.519.7333 x.111) or by e-mail [email protected] to see if he can help accommodate rooms for you within his group block.
Riders are encouraged to register online by August 18th to avoid late fees at http://byerlytoejam.com. This will guarantee a spot before the final registration at the Dyconia Resort on August 20th from 6pm – 8pm. No rider will be permitted to ride without checking in on August 20th.
