Lately, this has been the most popular Supreme boat around. There’s a lot of reasons why. It shows that plenty of people really want a V-drive but not necessarily an oversized boat. At under 22 feet and with a 90-inch beam, the 208 is more the size of a ski boat, so pretty much anybody can trailer it, back it up on the ramp, drive it, dock it. With all that comes solid performance for the driver and a fun wake for the rider. Upgrade it however you want. We think the Sky package is a must since it has all the wakeboarding substance. Stainless-steel and billet packages give this boat more flashes of style, including a racing steering wheel.
Hull: The hull dimensions and design make the most of this sub-21-footer. It’s a hand-laid hull with all-fiberglass stringer and floor. The gelcoat graphics have custom possibilities that play up the West Coast individualism of Supreme. The hull can work with any of four engine possibilities, from the standard 270 hp 5.7-liter MerCruiser to the 6.2-liter 340 hp Black Scorpion.
Ballast: The Sky package includes two under-floor rear ballast tanks with the chance to add front ballast too. The total factory ballast adds up to 600 pounds.
Tower: The Swoop tower comes with the Sky package. Also available is a heavy-duty Godzilla tower that’s as fierce as its name. Racks and tower mirror mount are optional.
Wake shaper: The adjustable trim plate, controlled at the helm, is a standard feature.
Seating: The main wraparound lounge makes for a lot of space over a 90-inch beam. The angled observer’s seat gives way to the sectioned C-shaped seating. A bow filler cushion is an option for making a forward playpen.
THE WAKE
The shape of these wakes is customizable from mellow to peaky for all riders with the use of the adjustable trim tab. Not too oversized and not too small, they’re just right, with good, long landing zones.
