Wakeboard Boat Review

The smallest boat in the Axis line, the A20 is a compact boat that fits on size-restricted waterways and in standard garages, but true to the Axis name it’s big on performance.

First off, the boat’s small size allows for responsive handling. The boat is really fun to drive and easy to dock, and It’s also really easy to trailer and tow with most vehicles. Despite the small hull, the A20 still feels fairly spacious inside thanks to the clean interior design and high gunwales. Surf Gate is also a huge feature on the A20. Opt for maximum ballast and fill both sides because you won’t need to change anything from wakeboarding to surfing. Keep the boat evenly weighted and hit the toggle switch at the dash to select which side you want to surf. It couldn’t be simpler to surf this little boat and the wave is legit.

The boat’s overall simplicity is something riders and drivers can both appreciate. The dash is simple and effective. Just about everything on the boat is analog and there’s not much to break or go wrong, so you’ll spend more time on the water and less at the dealer. This simplicity also helps keep the cost down, which is something any owner can appreciate.
