Worlds Airs on NBC Sports Oct. 10

Wakeboard World Championships Airs Oct. 10 on NBC Sports Network

Orlando, Fla. – The 2013 Rockstar WWA Wakeboard World Championships presented by Supra will be available in approximately 78 million homes tomorrow when NBC Sports Network broadcast the 30 minute episode at 4:30 p.m. (EST). The prestigious event, which took place in Pleasant Prairie, WI, featured approximately 200 athletes competing across more than 20 divisions, including Men’s Pro and Women’s Pro, the sport’s two elite divisions.

“Worlds attracted the biggest names and most talented riders from across the globe this year and saw some of the most competitive heats in recent memory,” said Sean Dishman, World Sports & Marketing’s director of sales and marketing. “Tomorrow’s NBC Sports Network broadcast gives wakeboard fans access to the highest quality coverage of the historic event.”

Tune in to follow wakeboarding’s top pro riders, as they compete in the sport’s most elite competition series for big prize money and to determine who is the King of Wake. NBC Sports Network will give viewers unprecedented access to the competition with in-depth profiles of all the top riders.
