2010 King of Wake on Fuel TV

The King of Wake — the world’s elite pro wakeboarding series — and FUEL TV — the only network dedicated to the lifestyle of action sports — announced today their partnership to televise the 2010 season of the King of Wake series. FUEL TV has been the exclusive television partner of the King of Wake since 2007.

Each King of Wake show will cover all the exciting action on and off the water as the sport’s top pros compete for the ultimate wakeboarding crown in a series points race of eight events throughout the United States to see who rules the wake.

“We’re excited to be supporting the King of Wake series for the fourth year in a row,” says Shon Tomlin, FUEL TV’s Senior Vice President of Programming and Marketing and series’ Executive Producer. “This is one of the most organized, spectator-friendly and consistent tours in action sports, and we are proud to have supported it since day one. We are also thrilled to have one of the best live-event production teams in the business covering all of the action in high definition.”

Beginning June 29, 2010, the King of Wake shows will air during Wake Steady, FUEL TV’s wake programming block every Tuesday night at 8 p.m. Beginning Oct. 11, the final two stops of the King of Wake series will switch to Monday evenings at 8:00 p.m. as part of FUEL TV’s Meet & Brotatoes programming block. Each show will re-air several times on the network.

“We’re stoked on our continued partnership with FUEL TV,” says Sean Dishman, Director of Sales and Marketing for the King of Wake. “The support we’ve gotten from the network has enabled us to expose our brand way beyond the crowds attending the events and really grow the sport around the world.”
