On Nov. 1, the Orlando Watersports Complex will hold the sixth annual Slider Spectacular contest with competition starting at 11 a.m.
The event is a cable competition for wakeboarders and wake skaters of all skill levels. It will be held in OWC’s slider park where the riders can use all eight rails and kickers the park has to offer to demonstrate the best of their abilities.
The event has consisted of three stops in the past, but this year it is compiled into one big event based on last year’s success, when the one-stop setup was first used. This year’s competitors range from beginners to pro-level riders, and men and women in both wakeboard and wake skate divisions.
The registration deadline for competitors is set at Friday, Oct. 31 at 8 p.m. The wakeboarding competition starts at 11 a.m. on Saturday. For more information, call 407-251-3100 or visit orlandowatersports.com.
