**1. The key to having great control as an off-axis spinner is spending a lot of time on the trampoline and learning the off-axis 180s. Learn this move first on the tramp and then take it to the water.
2. Make sure you keep your heels down toward your butt so the spin doesn’t turn into a flip. Do this by leaving the wake and moving your upper body over the handle. Then pull your knees and heels toward you as you advance on the handle and start to spin.
