Basically the switch mobe is exactly the same as the backside mobe – take a mellow, progressive approach into the wake. When you get to the wake, really concentrate on taking the board behind you by pushing the board away from the boat and looking in the same direction. Do not throw this trick as a you would a normal roll to revert or regular mobe. It’s important to get the board up and behind you as quickly as possible. Also, don’t let go too early. Use a two-hands long approach with the handle pass – pull the handle into the small of your back with two hands, letting go with your lead hand as late as possible, after the peak of your rotation. This will set the handle right at your hip so that you don’t have to reach for the handle pass. Use your free hand to complete the pass, and look at the shoreline for your landing.
