The key to coming in switchstance is the progressive edge. Really exaggerate the progressive gradual edge up and off the wake before throwing the trick. Remember: Progressive edge, standing tall, handle at your hips. As you leave the wake, push the board up and away from the boat and, as with a backside roll, imagine being in a tube with the board riding completely around the tube and with your hips and handle being the center axis. Three-quarters of the way through the rotation, tug the handle to your hips to get the board under you for your landing. Look at the horizon to orient yourself, and you may let go with your rear hand as you land to stop your rotation as long as the handle is at your hips.
