Shane Bonifay‘s new pro model flex board starts with Liquid Force’s lightest core construction, which is comprised of precision-CNCed wood and PVC for lightweight flex. That flex is complimented by Liquid Force’s super-durable Grind Base and Liquid Rails sidewall as well as four long-base slider fins, making the Shane Hybrid a monster on rails and in the cable park. Its aggressive three-stage rocker and Triax fiberglass layup, which provides torsional stiffness, make sure it’s no slouch behind the boat either.

Melissa Marquardt‘s new hybrid pro model features the same hybrid flex, Grind Base and Liquid Rail sidewall as Shane Bonifay, Shawn Watson and Kevin Henshaw’s hybrid flex boards. Its aggressive continuous rocker makes it fast on the water and lends it smooth edging while the double-inside-single concave through the center of the board helps soften landings.

The 2012 version of the Liquid Force Trip wakeboard keeps its proven all-around shape but features a killer new graphic from artist Chad Carothers. Line up the Trip’s four sizes — 103, 134, 142, 146 — and they create a single mural. Trippy.

Tom Fooshee‘s all-new pro model wakeboard is designed to suit the Texas cable champ’s shred-everything mentality. The board’s hybrid rocker has the pop of a three-stage off the wake yet holds speed like a continuous for boosting flat-water tricks at the park. Its massive surface area yields better control and extra pop off the wake or flat water, and its super-durable Grind Base and molded-in slider fins help it hold up to the cable park’s increased rail hits or whatever it is your winch is towing you toward.

The Jett Grind features a three-stage hybrid rocker that’s designed for consistent edging and increased ollie power and a winged rail shape for a quicker release off the wake.

We’ll have to wait a little longer for Bob Soven’s first-ever pro model wakeboard, but we have the new 2012 Liquid Force B1 wakeboard bindings to hold us over. The B1s feature Liquid Force’s brand-new IPX chassis, which is designed to deliver the ultimate board-boot connection, as well as Impact Gel and a EVA footbed for shock absorption and a perfect fit. In addition to a zonal lace system, the B1s also sport a Velcro toe strap which yields a more customizable feel and more control than typical open-toe boots.

2012 Liquid Force wakesurf boards

Liquid Force has a flood of new wakesurf boards for 2012. First, there’s Dominic Lagace’s all-new pro model wakesurf board, the 2012 Liquid Force Doum Skim, which boasts an advanced new shape and super-durable compression-molded construction. Former pro snowboarder, Amazing Race competitor and wakesurf enthusiast Tommy Czeschin also scored a new pro model board, the 2012 Liquid Force TC Custom Skim. The all-new shape is complimented by a stringered EPS core and custom fiberglass layup that results in a super light weight. There are also two new versions of Liquid Force’s venerable Custom wakesurfboard. The 2012 Liquid Force Custom Thruster is a full-on surf-style board with a thicker profile, bump-wing squashtail shape and a removable tri-fin setup.
