The WakeBoarding booth was about 15 steps from that of Darin Shapiro’s new water-sports company Grindwater at this year’s Surf Expo in Orlando, so we got a great look at how the Legend’s new brand is shaping up. Its two new wakesurf boards are super-light , and there are a couple wake-specific tubes on the horizon, but this new waterproof music system is probably the coolest thing Grindwater is pushing. The floating Rockwater Sound Case is waterproof, shatterproof and resistant to sea and pool water corrosion. And the innovative silicone gasket and snap-locking latch makes sure your iPod is completely protected.
