Pre-Registration is now open for the Ukrainian Wake Park Open & 3rd Stop of the 2008 WWA Wake Park World Series

The Ukrainian Wake Park Open and third stop of the 2008 WWA WPWS is open to all international competitors with 6 different categories and over $27,000 in total cash and prizes for Pro Men Wakeboard, Pro Women Wakeboard, Pro Wakeskate, Junior Men, Best Kicker Trick and Best Rail Trick. In addition to some incredible riding, there will also be live concerts and open-air parties planned each night, as well as some sightseeing opportunities for those who are interested in visiting Kiev.

The X-Traction Cableway in Kiev is a square cable design with four corners. The wake park has a whole new set of obstacles including two large kickers, two small kickers, a fun box, inclined ramp, big rail, camel rail and dragon table. In addition, there is on-site volleyball, table tennis, billiards, trampolines, paintball, mini-golf, shooting gallery and a recreation zone with children’s playground, kayaking, catamarans, jet skis, boats and bicycles, as well as a restaurant and bar. Pre-registration is now open for all six divisions. Please download and complete the registration form from http://www.wpws.com.ua/rider_reg.htm and return to both Danielle@thewwa.com and milana@security.com.ua A confirmation will be sent to the email address provided to ensure that your pre-registration form was received.

The Entry Fee will be $100 for each division in wakeboard and wakeskate. There will be a separate $50 entry fee for the Best Kicker Trick and Best Rail Trick contests for those who are interested. Entry fee is inclusive of free riding on the cable, six free meals and 15 drinks, free transportation to and from the Airport and Hotels from Aug 8-10, as well as access to all parties, concerts and events being held throughout the weekend. Competitors may compete in more than one discipline but an entry fee must be paid for each. For example: A rider can compete in one Wakeboard and one Wakeskate division if they choose.

All riders must be current WWA members to compete and you can obtain membership onsite during registration and rider check in on Thursday, August 8th. Membership entitles you to compete in any WWA event behind the boat, cable or rail jam anywhere in the world for the calendar year
