South Padre Island, Texas, is one of the hottest spots in the country for Spring Breakers. It’s also the site of the Texas Wakeboard Tour’s Spring Break Slam Wakeboard Rail Jam, which will take place from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. on March 16-17 during Texas College week. Competitors, who will include Kevin Henshaw, Gabe Lucas, Tom Fooshee and Bret Little, will be “Ridin’ Rails for Rims” — the best trick winners in both wakeboard and wakeskate will receive a set of 22-inch rims as well as a custom trophy from Lucky Devil Designs. The rail jam will happen on the beach at the Bahia Mar Resort located at 6300 Padre Boulevard on the North end of the island.
