Wakeboard Boat Review
MB Sports’ B52V Team Wide Body screams craftsmanship in every detail. Clean fit and finish harmonizes with a rounded, shred-ready wake to make a great all-around wakeboarding boat that’s as ready to generate swell as it is to accommodate the whole family. The MB Sports B52V is every bit as rider-friendly as its cohorts, the MB Sports F21 Tomcat and MB Sports F23 Tomcat, the only difference is the traditional, pointed bow. Some people prefer a pickle-fork bow, some don’t. MB Sports recognizes that fact and provides a wake boat that is exactly the same as the F21 Tomcat, but with a more orthodox look.
With 1,800 pounds of factory ballast that fills in 60 seconds, we were surprised to find this much meat behind a 21-foot wakeboard boat. The MB Sports B52V Team Wide Body provides a clean, crisp swell with long landing areas at a wide range of speeds. The MB Sports B52V doesn’t have a “type” of rider; anyone can have a blast.
Fit and finish We’ve all been in a wake boat and noticed where the manufacturer cut some corners. Well, this won’t happen in an MB boat. Priding themselves on the details, every bit of MB Sports’ craftsmanship contributes to the whole, and the MB Sports B52V ends up being quite the package.
Hesitation-free warranty MB Sports’ factory warranty is nothing short of astonishing. With a lifetime warranty on the hull and deck and three to five years on just about everything else in the boat, you can be sure this wakeboard boat is a hassle-free, long-term investment.
