New Boats and Engines at the 2019 Miami International Boat Show

There are always cool things to do and see at one of the world's biggest boat shows

While the Miami International Boat Show is one of the biggest boat shows in the world, with over 700 boats in the water (plus over 700 more in displays on land), but it is not a huge show for wakeboarding. That being said, wake companies still make their presence felt, from boats to electronics to engines and more. Here are some of the highlights we saw while running around this unbelievable event on the water of Key Biscayne.

This red and tan Malibu 22 MXZ had onlookers drooling all over the showroom floor. The color combo screams classic Corvette, which may be a nod to the Corvette edition Response boats Malibu made back in the late 90’s. Garrett Cortese

Indmar

Indmar had one of the biggest announcements at the show with the unveiling of the first ever EcoBoost marine engine, alongside a jet drive it can be paired with. While this doesn’t have an immediate impact on the wake market, the thought is that eventually this engine will make its way into V-drive applications and provide more fuel-efficiency in a much smaller package.
