Two of the top names in wakeboarding — Soven and Overton’s — are joining forces. Phillip and Bob Soven will be sponsored by Overton’s for the 2011 season.

Phillip Soven is coming off an amazing 2010 season where he finished first in the King of Wake, MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour standings and WWA World Series standings.
Bob Soven was named Rookie of the Year in 2010 after his first season of professional competition. He ranked third in the final King of Wake standings and won wakeboarding events in Miami and Colorado Springs. In 2009, he was featured in Sports Illustrated after becoming the first amateur to win all five stops of the Junior Pro Men’s Tour.
“Overton’s is the top name in the game when it comes to having a wide selection of quality gear at great prices, so it’s going to be great fun to promote their good name on the water this season,” Bob Soven says. “My brother and I are looking forward to another great season of successes, and being a part of the Overton’s team is a great first step toward an enjoyable 2011.”
As part of their sponsorship agreement with Overton’s, the Soven brothers will star in new video productions that will come out later in 2011 as well as appear in Overton’s photo sessions and promotional materials.
