SKI SUPREME MANUFACTURER PROFILE OVERVIEW Ski Supreme is a family owned California-based company founded in the late 1970’s that specializes in the manufacturing of high-quality, tournament inboard and V-drive boats. The cornerstone of the company is product integrity with the number-one concern being superior customer service and value. CONSTRUCTION Supreme says that its construction process showcases the integrity of its boats and demonstrates the value it provides by using the latest in high-tech materials. This focus allows for improved product adjustments, which lead to easier maintenance and higher customer satisfaction levels. Among the interior, Supreme offers many extras such as the SIS (Supreme Information System). The SIS includes air/water temperature readings, a depth gauge, digital speed and tach readouts. Plus, Supreme really delivers with some of the hottest graphics, newest colors and gelcoat applications. According to Supreme, they are most proud of their dedication to the product, delivering what they consider to be an outstanding boat with a huge number of standard features. ENGINES All Ski Supreme models come with a multitude of MerCruiser engine options, ranging from the 5.7L, 270-hp to the MerCruiser MX 6.2-liter Black Scorpion, with a commanding 340-hp. Plus, since all Supremes come with your choice of MerCruiser engines, the Smart Craft speed control system is an additional option. Supreme utilizes the vast amount of MerCruiser service venues in existence to their advantage. In the unlikely case that something should go wrong with the engine, the customer does not have to bring the boat back to the dealer, but rather to the nearest MerCruiser service location. DEALERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE Not all boat dealers are equal, especially when it comes to being a Ski Supreme dealer. Supreme takes a different approach than most other boat manufacturers. Since Supreme is a smaller, family owned company, they want to know who it is that is representing their boats in the marketplace. Supreme believes in getting to know the dealer personally by spending time with the owners, sales people, and by developing an intimate dealer/manufacturer relationship. According to Supreme, you cannot sell a product, no matter how appealing, unless you know it inside and out. This is key since Supreme wants to deliver the best value to the customer, and it can only be done when the dealer truly knows the product. In order to make certain that their dealers are equipped, Supreme spends many hours of one-on-one time with each dealer before they are certified. Currently Supreme says that the majority of its dealers are located in the Western United States with many more in the central part of the country. While they believe that being a small company has its advantages, they are continuing to grow every day.
