**Ollie over Obstacle
**1. Start with something small and then work your way up. Beach balls come in many different sizes, all the way up past 4 feet tall. Tie a string to the ball and a brick and drop it in the water.
2. Edge out early and then flatten off before you ollie. It is way harder to ollie big while on edge. Try letting go of your back hand for balance. Some people like to bounce off the front of the board for more pop and timing. Then, lifting your front leg while digging the tail of the board into the water will give you a good snap out of the water. At the peak of the ollie, pull both legs up so the board will be flat at the peak of your air. Then land with the board flat on the water, instead of landing tail-heavy.
