The next official contender for the Rockstar Miss TransWorld Wake 2013 Model Search is 23-year-old San Diegan Melissa Wright. We are big fans of the girls that send in their photos accompanied by photos of them wakeboarding. It just makes them seem that much cooler, does it not? How many years have you been wakeboarding? 11 years now
What is your best trick? Summersault, I’m sure its funny to watch.
Have you tried riding at a cable park or wakesurfing? I haven’t had the opportunity to hit up the cable park yet but I’ve tried wakesurfing.
Do you have a favorite professional wakeboarder? I’d like to have a drink with Aaron Rathy.
What is your full-time job? I’m a Visual Merchandiser
What other sports do you participate in? I love playing tennis, basketball, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and I’m currently training for my first half ironman, Oceanside 70.3 this spring.
If you were to be Miss TransWorld Wake 2013, what would you hope to do with the honor? Some of my best memories are wakeboarding every weekend with my awesome family. I would love to give kids that have an interest in wakeboarding the opportunity to come out, have a good time, show us all some new tricks.
Turn ons: Any guy that will strap a snowboard to my feet and jump out of a helicopter gets a second date in my book. Or a gentleman works too.
Turn offs: Someone who doesn’t live life to the fullest
