There have been many many things said about Raphael Derome in the last few months and deservedly so. This kid came back from a very serious injury, stronger and more determined than ever. Scoring the overall win at the Red Bull Wake Open, the September cover of TransWorld WAKEBOARDING, then topping it all off with both Rail Rider of the Year and Wakeboarder of the Year awards the other night at the Wake Awards, it didn’t seem like Raph could have hit this year any harder…and then he drops this. As this video was not eligible for the 2012 Wake Awards for Best Web Video or Wakeboard Video Part, it is most definitely in first for next year and I can’t wait to see if anything gives it a run. Thanks to Raph and his boys Justin Loiselle and Jonathan Ferguson for creating this magic.
