Malinoski Tops in Wet Windermere

By all accounts, two things are clear about the previous weekend’s festivities in Windermere: It was damp, and Rusty “The Bone Crusher” Malinoski is hitting 2008 hard. Malinoski started off his run — let’s just repeat that — he started off his finals run with a switch toeside 900. If Malinoski would have went out there and pulled a duck out of a pink feather hat and rode that instead of his 2008 Marek, it’s safe to say his competition wouldn’t have been more surprised. Rusty continued on for the top spot followed by up-and-coming phenom Jimmy LaRiche in second place, with Andrew Adkison placing just below LaRiche in third.

With the first pro event firmly behind the 2008 season and everyone recounting a great time, there’s nothing more but to check out the gallery above and the stats below.

1st : Rusty Malinoski – 90

2nd : Jimmy LaRiche – 76
