Rollins College hosted the 4th annual Correct Craft Collegiate National Championships in Orlando, Florida on November 6th and 7th. Over 90 riders from 23 teams across the country showed up to throw down at the event. The addition of mens and womens wakeskate created a new twist and additional way for teams to rack up points. The party started early in the morning on Saturday with Red Bull and free food all day. That night, Supra hosted a party at the Orlando Watersports Complex and everyone got to slide the cable and eat for free.
“I was stoked that Rollins as a first year club managed to do so well,” said Rollins College rider, Jeff McKee. “It gets you a lot more into the tournament knowing that you’re riding for a team because even if you don’t do so well, you can still be stoked for your other team riders for doing well. It gets you way more excited. The only disappointment was the lack of kegs; there was only one. Other than that, it was pretty good.”
The final showdowns came on Sunday with the semi finals and finals to roundup the tournament. University of Central Florida dominated the competition with riders placing in the top three in every event.
