Wakeboard Boat Review

Malibu‘s Wakesetter 22 MXZ is a pro-level wakeboard and surf boat that will accommodate any degree of riding with plenty of high-end features. The first thing you’ll notice about the 22 MXZ is definitely the dash. This boat has a ton of functionality and the dash pulls everything together with a user-friendly interface. The operating system has some unique functions that can tailor the boat to your needs, but it’s also easy to just get in and drive the first time. The joystick is key for easy operating; it has everything you need for the boat’s primary driving functions so you can keep your eyes on the water. Another standout feature is the new G4 tower. It’s designed specifically for Malibu and its look and function are perfect for the boats. There’s a small handle on the side that unlocks the tower. It’s built flush with the tower structure and allows you to easily collapse it with one person. When it’s collapsed, the tow point flips down so it sits low in the boat. There’s also integrated LED lighting and plenty of space for racks and speakers.  We can’t forget Surf Gate. It works really well with the 22 MXZ and you never have to move any weight around to surf either side whenever you want. It’s a huge convenience. Surf Gate on the 22 MXZ also has a horn system that lets you know exactly when it’s going to switch so you can transfer from side to side while you’re riding with way more consistency.
