Next up in our cast of characters for Quiet, Please is Oli Derome. This dude brings a pretty significant technical game to our project and if you know anything about Oli, he’s one of the best people to be around. His super unique style mixed with positive vibes makes for one of the best riders…
It brings all of us here great sadness to show you this week’s Monday Mishap. Our good buddy Mike Dowdy took a set early last week trying a double roll to blind, the trick that won him the 2013 Indmar Trick of the Year, and blew out his knee. Mike is a incredibly talented…
We had the pleasure of having our buddy Sean Kilgus in the office the other day before he cruised off to Australia to shoot for his upcoming film, Prime. He got a chance to tell us what’s been up with him, his take on life in the digital world and some of his latest news on Prime.
There’s nothing quite like a fresh front edge catch on a Monday morning. In this edition of Monday Mishap, our wakeboard participant backs off of his edge a little too much at the wake, resulting in him casing the wake and bouncing straight onto his front edge in the trough — yikes!
Jeff Langley and O’Brien teamed up to create Jeff’s pro model, “The Bruce”, for 2014. If Jeff hasn’t sold you on it by the time you finish watching this video, you must not have a soul. Be prepared to upgrade your gear after watching Jeff take a set on his new board.
Well, it’s been in the 80′s lately out here in Orlando. At the heart of it, Orlando Watersports Complex has been a wakeboarder’s paradise. There have been no crowds, calm days, and summer temperatures. Looks like Jimmy and Adam took advantage of this summer climate and took a few doubles sets. I guess it’s time to book a trip to Florida!
JB has been blasting out edits lately. Seems like he is making the best of his winter and really getting a leg up on the season. After months of riding cable in Australia, JB heads to the Nepean River in Penrith for a set on the boat.
What a wakeboarder’s paradise. This monthly series called “Local Foreigners” features the riders who call CWC home for a few weeks or months at a time. What a cool idea. Thanks to CWC for documenting this! Maybe if you vacation to CWC and tear it up you may make it in one of their Local Foreigners videos?
This week’s Monday Mishap was submitted by Derek Grasman via R.J. Flake of Wakesports in CA. This Mishapper, Parker Host, experienced an unexpected hault in momentum that is pretty entertaining. Thank goodness for modern day cable parks that don’t have board magnets in their rails like this one. Happy Monday!
In this edition of NKOTB, we will be featuring Mange Ling from Sweden – friends with the Breddas crew. Mange took a trip to Thailand and spent 28 days at wake-a-lot and this edit was the result. Not sure what they are feeding those Swedish kids these days, but whatever it is, it’s working.
