Orlando Watersports Complex and Nautique Boat Company had the pleasure of volunteering to help people who are challenged with physical and mental disabilities experience time on the water, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Aktion Parks and Nautique Boats were able to team up with Ann’s Angels, a local nonprofit, all-volunteer team that plans waterskiing and wakeboarding events to promote a healthy and active lifestyle for those who are challenged with physical and mental disabilities. During the event, 16 riders enjoyed 36 pulls with the team, with some of them being their first time on the water. Several pro Nautique athletes, including Jodi Grassman, Whitney Rini, Mary Morgan Howell, Jon Travers, and John Akerman were able to come out and show their support by coaching. Seven different organizations were represented, including Spinabifida Central Florida, Orlando Veterans Administration, Orlando VA, Tampa VA, Lakeland VA, Brooks Rehab, and Wheelchair for Kids.

Aktion Parks Director of Operations, Kellan Rudnicki, commented, “Ann’s Angels is truly a wonderful organization doing amazing work in making life better for so many individuals who otherwise would not be able to partake in the activities of watersports.” Rudnicki added, “Thanks to the support of Nautique Boats and their team for making lifelong memories for our riders!”
