Houston is set to get a cable wakeboarding park. Peter Kennedy, the founder of Cincinnati cable park Wake Nation Cincinnati, has announced plans for Wake Nation Houston, which will be located near Pearland, Texas.
Construction on Wake Nation Houston will begin immediately, and the new cable park is expected to open in spring 2011.
“We are very excited about bringing the area’s only full-scale cable wakeboarding park to Houston,” Kennedy says.

Wake Nation Houston will be located near Pearland in Rosharon, which is about 20 minutes from downtown Houston. The park will include a 12-acre cable lake, pro shop, concession area and several other services and amenities.
