Wakestock 2010: Who, When and Where

Wakestock, the world’s largest annual wakeboarding festival is proud to announce that it will return to Collingwood, Canada, August 6-8, 2010.

One of the most progressive and richest events in pro wakeboarding and wakeskating for 12 years running, Wakestock is globally renowned as an innovative rider’s event that showcases the best in wakeboarding, wakeskating and the action sports lifestyle, including incredible live music and legendary parties.

Wakestock was the first pro wakeboarding tour event to include rails, wakeskating and winch pools and consistently attracts the biggest spectator crowds in the world. Past Wakestock champions include legends like Darin Shapiro, Parks Bonifay, Brett Eisenhauer, Jeff Heer and current superstars like Chad Sharpe, Shane Bonifay, Daniel Watkins, Keith Lidberg, Brian Grubb, Reed Hansen, George Daniels, Stuart Shinn, Rusty Malinoski, Phil Soven and Aaron Rathy.

Wakestock is one of five events, including the WWA Wakeboard World Championships, that comprise the 2010 WWA Wakeboard World Series, the world’s richest pro wakebaording tour. Rathy is the defending Wakestock Billabong Wakeboard Pro Champion, and Grubb is the defending Wakestock Malibu Boats Wakeskate Pro Champion. Wakestock also features Canada’s largest amateur wakeboarding and wakeskating contest presented by Malibu Boats.

Ontario, Canada, is one of North America’s leading wakeboarding markets, and Collingwood, Ontario, is one of Canada’s top action sports destinations. Collingwood is located on the beautiful shores of Georgian Bay, Lake Huron, two hours north of Toronto.
