Kustom Footwear recently added wakeboarder Shawn Watson to its team of pro wake athletes. Watson joins wakeskater Brian Grubb on the Kustom wake team.
“Kustom and Shawn are a great fit,” says Mike Makos, marketing manager at Kustom footwear. “He will be a great addition to the team, which prides itself on having the most progressive athletes.”
Watson has long been considered one of wakeboarding’s most stylish riders, and he further cemented that reputation this year with his part in Billabong’s Out of the Pond, which swept the video categories at WAKEBOARDING magazine’s 2009 Wake Awards.
