Sunshine kids rock TSR’s Little Bro

The Sunshine Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to children with cancer. Established in 1982, the organization is committed to providing positive group activities and emotional support for young cancer patients. The Sunshine Kids provides a variety of programs and events, free of charge, for kids who are receiving cancer treatments in hospitals across North America.      On June 11, the sunshine kids came out to Texas Ski Ranch for the fifth year in a row, and this year event went better than ever thanks to the Rixen Little Bro straightline cable system that was added during the offseason. The versatility of the Little Bro enabled regional pros to put on quick exhibitions in between sets for the kids. The commercial friendly system is perfect for beginners and pros, which is essential to TSR when hosting events like this. Christin Bialick of TSR says: “Coordinating groups like the Sunshine kids is always an honor, but many of the kids are limited to lower key activities and were unable or afraid to try the main cable lake.  They have taken to the Little Bro like old pros! The benefit for beginners and groups like this one has made my job as event coordinator much easier, and it’s so rewarding knowing that every child leaves feeling like he is a success!”     The kids also played on TSR’s full size cable system, the rock-climbing wall, the skate park and motocross track (4-Wheeler rides).
