For the first time in history, the top female riders on the MasterCraft Pro Wakeboard Tour will be featured in the Lone Star State. The 2008 Wake Games women's champion Nicola Butler (Cape Town, South Africa) enters Fort Worth as the Tour's top-ranked rider in the Indmar Performance Standings. The second-year pro rider won her first-ever Tour title at the 2008 Tour opener in Acworth, Ga. Butler has two Queen of Wake victories under her belt, but the womens field will never count Dallas Friday out. Friday's a consummate competitor who has the ability and drive to win at any time. While Butler has won the last two Queen of Wake stops, Friday won the womens division at the Masters last weekend. Other riders in contention for the Fort Worth title includes current women's wakeboard world champion Amber Wing (Sydney, Australia), X Games gold medalist Emily Copeland Durham (Denver, Colo.) and 2007 Tour champion Shelby Kantar (Sacramento, Calif.).
