Summer in Kansas has come to an end, but there is still plenty of great riding ahead at KC Watersports Cable Park in Hillsdale, Kansas. The park will operate weekends in September, concluding with a three-day weekend bash starting Friday the 23rd.
In addition to the regular hourly passes, a special three-day weekend pass will be available for only $40.
The highlight of the weekend is a slider competition on Saturday at 5pm. Divisions include: Beginner Wakeboard, Intermediate Wakeboard, Open Wakeboard and Wakeskate. Cash prizes will be awarded in the Open Wakeboard division. Entry fees are $20 for open division and $15 for all other divisions.
Event sponsors include Sitzmark Sports, Alliance Wakeboard, No Fear, Liquid Force, Corona Beer and Moose Juice Binding Lube.
Following Saturday’s slider competition, an “after party” will be held at Curly Brown’s Restaurant in Spring Hill, Ks. Carson Swisher’s videos from this year’s prior events will be shown at the party.
Saturday will also feature a wakeboard “Yard Sale”, sponsored by Sitzmark Sports. There will be special closeout pricing on all remaining ’05 gear.
