AI is truly pervasive in society. Even wake-control systems aboard some boats are verging on AI, or at least using artificial intelligence in their development.
That said, we haven’t seen an application of AI catching air or riding a wave (yet.) These remain very human activities. Moreover, watersports is a means of personal expression as much as a show of athleticism and grace. One might devise a robot capable of performing certain tricks, but it wouldn’t be the same.
