Little Rippers Launches

Our new feature highlights those who represent the future of waterports.

Wakeboarding, and watersports like wakesurfing and foiling, represent some of the most exciting things you can do on the water. They also make fantastic family bonding opportunities. In addition, participating in watersports teaches dedication, commitment and is physically healthy.

To celebrate all of these attributes, we are launching, “Little Rippers.”

Little Rippers will feature just that: Young people, under 12 years old, enjoying watersports.

To have your Little Ripper included, send an email to me at: kevin.falvey@firecrown.com.

Be sure to put “Little Ripper” in the subject line of your email. In the body of the email include the Ripper’s name, age and lake they shred on. If you’d like to mention your boat or the Ripper’s chosen board or favorite gear, that’s fine, too. I’m also sure everyone would love to know about a special trick or accomplishment (it may simply be getting up for the first time) the Ripper has achieved.

Naturally, include a photo or video of the Little Ripper ripping.

We’ll kick off Little Rippers with 2-year-old Reed Taylor from Minnesota. Let the Little Rippers rip!

Reed Taylor out wakeboarding
According to Reed’s mom, Katie Taylor, Reed is “obsessed with wakeboarding and surfing.” Reed enjoys ripping on Lake Washington, near Mankato, Minnesota. Courtesy Katie Taylor
