LearnWake Trick Tips – The Cable Park Dock Start

Standing dock starts made easy, no matter what foot forward you are

One of the most intimidating things about riding at a cable park the first few times isn’t necessarily the big rails or giant kickers, it’s the simple dock start. Everybody is in line watching you. You’re waiting for the empty carrier to come around as the operator hands you a handle. The rope clicks in and you watch it start to go tight, wondering if you’re going to get the timing right … and then you catch that edge as the handle slingshots out of your hands and you go face first into the lake.

It doesn’t have to be that way though. Check out this video from our friends at LearnWake that will have you timing the standing dock start at your local cable park in no time.
