Hundreds of riders from throughout the Midwest converged on KC Watersports on June 20 for the final stop of the Liquid Force Free For All presented by Skullcandy. The day started with beautiful weather, great riding and great vibes. Shane Bonifay and Grant Roberts were on hand to teach people how to ride, dish out trick tips, and take some turns slashing all the super-fun rails KC Watersports has to offer.
Just as the fun was rolling in full gear, the sky darkened and a classic midwestern thunderstorm rolled in and chased everyone off the water. Shane didn’t skip a beat and seized the moment by entertaining the crowd and giving away prizes from all Free For All sponsors, including Liquid Force, Skullcandy, Monster Energy, WAKEBOARDING, Spy Optic and Supra Boats.
The clouds parted an hour later and the riding resumed! By mid-afternoon, the weather was great and KC Watersports was rocking. The day was a huge success — people came, they learned to ride, they had an awesome day and they caught the stoke!
