16 National Titles Awarded at Day Two of Nautique WWA National Championships

West Chester, OH. —An action packed day at Voice of America Park culminated with athletes earning national titles across 16 divisions of the Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships presented by Rockstar.

The first two days at Nationals saw the debut of the all-new 2014 Super Air Nautique 210. Being one of the first to ever ride behind Nautique’s new 210 and earning the first ever National Championship behind the boat was Josh Harmon in the Amateur Wakeskate division. Harmon leveraged the 210’s launch-friendly wake to pull off a run that meshed style with highly technical tricks.

“We saw some next-level riding today with a lot of the athletes stepping their game up a notch behind the huge G23 wake as well as the super clean 210 wake,” said Chris Bischoff, competition director. “With the pro divisions starting competition tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see some tricks that have never been pulled off in competition before when it’s all said and done.”

The athletes in the Men’s I division boosted from the G23’s enormous wake to put on a jaw-dropping finals heat. Registering the run-of-the day was Colby Bernier who maneuvered with near perfection behind the game-changing G23 with massive rotating aerials that routinely launched him into the flats securing him the honor of being the division’s 2013 National Champion.
