Tige Boats Signs Northwest Riders to Team

Seattle, WA – Tige Boats and Seattle-based Northwest Riders announced a partnership that will put the crew at Northwest Riders in a fully-loaded Tige RZ2 for the 2012 season. Northwest Riders will be working with local dealer Lynnwood Motoplex to promote the full lineup of Tige boats through their longstanding wakeboard school and contest series.

“We couldn’t be happier about partnering with Tige,” said Northwest Riders co-owner Greg Young. “Not only will we have the privilege of spending 12 hours a day in a new RZ2 this summer, but we’ll be working with a company who has already gotten completely behind us and sees our vision for where we want to go as a company. This will be a partnership in the truest sense, as both Northwest Riders and Tige will be working together not only to promote each others’ brands, but the sport of wakeboarding in general.”

The crew at Northwest Riders will take delivery of their new RZ2 with enough time to get it stickered up and onto Lake Washington by early June, where they operate their busy wakeboard school. When asked what he thought of their new boat, Northwest Riders co-owner Zack Clark summed it up well, “After talking with the guys at Tige and Lynnwood Motoplex a few times, we decided to take a test drive and see if the boat is as awesome as they claim. As soon as I saw it tied up to the dock, I was ready to sign on the dotted line. Not only do I love the look of the boat, but the performance is unlike any boat I’ve driven. I can’t wait to take both a wakeboard set and a surf set behind our RZ2, the wake is top notch for doing both!”

Tige Boats continues to push to be the best inboard manufacturer in the industry. “Our goal is to not be the biggest, but to build the best boats possible,” said Ben Pigeon, Tige’s Regional Sales Manager. “While we continue to push the market through new model introductions like the all new Z3 and a unique patented hull design with the Convex V/TAPS², Tige continues to gain momentum.” Pigeon added, “As we continue to push to be the best, it is our goal to align ourselves with the best. We are excited to be partnering with the Northwest Riders in the Seattle area. Their dedication to our sport and influence on the industry assures us of a great partnership for years to come. We look forward to providing the Northwest Riders with the best boats on the market to help them push the boarding industry to new levels.”

When asked about the new partnership, Brian Benson of Lynnwood Motoplex expressed that “seeing the guys at Northwest Riders in a new Tige RZ2 is something that I’ve wanted to see happen for a long time. Northwest Riders has developed a great reputation in our area over the years, and through them we have another way to get new riders and their families out on the water to experience how phenomenal a Tige boat really is.”
