West Coast wake shop The Liquid Playground will host a wakeboarding photography show on April 22 to celebrate the opening of a 400-square-foot art gallery that was recently added to the shop.
The event will feature a collaboration of print media from many of wakeboarding’s top photographers, including Josh Letchworth, Bryan Soderlind, Garrett Cortese, Joey Meddock, Jason Lee, Roland Lugo, and Kyle Rowe. Rodrigo Donoso, Riley Bangerter, and Scott Alexander will be in attendance, showing some amazing pieces and giving you the opportunity to meet a few elite West Coast photographers.
“The support has been nothing short of amazing and many of the pros are donating their boards that actually go with each print I’m going to display,” says Austin Watts, owner of The Liquid Playground. “I’m actually turning the entire store into a gallery on the 22, since I’ve received so many prints.”
The opening reception is open to the public and will take place Friday, April 22, from 7:30-10 p.m. This event is free but a small donation is appreciated to help support the American Red Cross’ disaster relief efforts in Japan.
