Wake Up Call: Sesitec System 2.0 Contest in Ontario

September 20, 2010

Boarder Pass, the first straight-line cable park in Ontario, Canada, is set to host the second Wake Up Call event this weekend. Wake Up Call draws riders from both sides of the border for an amateur and an open/advanced wakeboarding contest, as well as a wakeskate competition. The winner of the advanced comp will be named “Ontario Wakeboarding Cable Park Champion,” as they master the numerous obstacles on the two-tower Sesitec System 2.0.

Border Pass is tucked away in a small bay on Lake Huron with calm waters for riding every day. The park will host Wake-Up Call Part 2 on Sept. 18, beginning at 10 a.m. Entry fee is $25 for riders, but spectators are free.

Check back at wakeboardingmag.com after the event for the results and videos of the best riding.
