Toe Jam Qualifier Results from This Weekend!

The qualifier events for the Byerly Toe Jam came through Orlando, FL over this past weekend at OWC. There were three disciplines of the Toe Jam (Rails behind the PWC, Boat, and Cable) that riders were all out competing to earn qualifying spots to ride in the main event. The main event is this coming weekend, September 11th, back at OWC.

From the boat portion of the qualifier, only 5 riders earned spots to join Brian Grubb, Reed Hansen, and Brandon Thomas in the Byerly Toe Jam. After 5 qualifying heats, 10 riders went head-to-head to find out who the top 5 riders would be to advance. After a couple close heats between Yan Lemcombe vs. George Daniels, and James Balzer vs. Nick Taylor, the day capped with the following results:

The cable portion of the contest on Friday results saw some fresh names. Again, only 5 riders would advance out of this discipline, but this time to join Nick Taylor, Bret Little, and Reed Hansen in the main event this Saturday. Nike 6.0 rider Leo Labadens came over from France to melt some faces and make it through his qualifier heat to be invited to the Byerly Toe Jam. The final results for the day were as follows:

On Saturday, the last discipline of the weekend capped off with the rail portion pulled behind the PWC. There were 6 riders that would advance out of the rail event. These 6 would meet all the past winners of the rail discipline. They are Reed Hansen, Ben Horan, Brandon Thomas, Clint Tompkins, Nick Taylor, and Brian Grubb. There were some unreal standouts from the day including both of the Pastura brothers, Yan Lecombe, and Chris Kallas. The riders that advanced into the Byerly Toe Jam from the rail portion are as follows:
