Spy Optic announced its 2008 Spy Optic/Sport Chalet wakeboard boat sweepstakes grand prize winner, Janet Mendoza of Los Alamitos, California at the Carlsbad Lagoon in Carlsbad, California on Friday, October 24th.
Janet Mendoza, a Sport Chalet Action Pass’ member, was presented with a champagne toast on behalf of Spy Optic and Sport Chalet executives with a 2007 Super Air Nautiques 210 Team Edition wakeboard boat, a 2007 DHM trailer, and a Liquid Force Wakeboard total retail value over $68,000 along with Spy Optic sunglasses and gift packs.
Mendoza was chosen out of over 8,000 entries in Sport Chalet’s Action Pass’ exclusive sweepstakes between June 1 and August 15, 2008.
Spy Optic pro wakeboarder Melissa Marquardt was on-site at the Carlsbad lagoon to congratulate and present the boat. When asked how she felt about her grand prize, Janet Mendoza said, “It’s pretty overwhelming. I’m so excited. I don’t know what else to say!”
