JOB SUMMARY:
Primary engineering CAD designer. Creates the 2-D, 3-D and solid model drawings necessary to produce new parts and products. Also, modifies existing drawings for new season updates or to make necessary design changes. Lays out complete products and prepares assembly and detailed drawings, following general instructions and directions. Performs a supervised role in testing materials, parts, products and processes to ensure that quality requirements are met. Assists in the preparation of department records and maintains the department’s records. Assists with product design and recommends improvements on existing products.
The Ideal Candidate:
— Must be an experienced wakeboarder and waterskier.
— Experienced in CAD and 3-D modeling with the ability to move from design concept to finished design, including layouts, tolerance valuations and detail drawings. SolidWorks experience is preferred.
— Knowledge of basic engineering principles and an aptitude for design with the desire to develop new skills and abilities.
— Ability to use Word, Excel and Outlook.
— Experience using general shop tools. Ability to learn and use all factory equipment.
— Ability to build and modify prototypes for testing.
— Course work or experience in woodworking, metalworking, plastics and composites.
— Ability to work independently and as a team member.
— Strong analytical and math skills.
— Goal oriented, good organizational skills, careful with details and the ability to meet deadlines.
PAY: Depending on skills and experience.
